Rejoin Campaign Terms and Conditions and Privacy policy

Terms and Conditions

Please read all these terms and conditions.

Application

1. These Terms and Conditions will apply to the purchase of  membership of Rejoin by you (the Customer or you).  We are the Rejoin Campaign, PO Box 5425, Templecombe, BA9 0BJ (the Supplier or us or we). 

2. These are the terms on which we offer membership to you.  You can only purchase membership from the Website.

 

Interpretation

3. Membership means the Customer's order for membership as submitted following the step by step process set out on the Website.

4. Privacy Policy means the terms which set out how we will deal with confidential and personal information received from you via the Website;

5. Services means the services advertised on the Website means our website rejoin@rejoinandreform.co.uk on which any Services are advertised.

Membership

6. The description of membership is as set out in the Website, catalogues, brochures or other form of advertisement.

7. It is your responsibility to ensure that any information or specification you provide is accurate.

8. We can make changes to membership rules which will comply with any applicable law. We will notify you of these changes.

9. The Rejoin Campaign retains the right to refuse membership without giving a reason and for the right to terminate membership if any member acts in a manner which is detrimental to the best interests of the Rejoin Campaign and its members.

Personal information

10. We retain and use all information strictly under the Privacy Policy.

11. We may contact you by using e-mail or other electronic communication methods and by pre-paid post and you expressly agree to this.

12. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third party.

Fees and Payment

13. The fees (Fees) for Membership, is that set out on the Website at the date we accept the subscription.

14. You must pay by submitting your credit or debit card details with your Membership request and we can take payment immediately.

Withdrawal  and cancellation

15. You can withdraw from membership of the Rejoin Campaign at any time. Any annual membership fee or donation that has already been paid is not refundable. You will no longer be billed for any future membership and your name will be withdrawn from our list of members.

Privacy

16. Your privacy is critical to us. We respect your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation with regard to your personal information.

17. These Terms and Conditions should be read alongside, and are in addition to our policies, including our privacy policy (rejoinandreform.co.uk/sign) and cookies policy (Do not use cookies).

18. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  1. 'Data Protection Laws' means any applicable law relating to the processing of Personal Data, including, but not limited to the Directive 95/46/EC (Data Protection Directive) or the GDPR.

  2. 'GDPR' means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

  3. 'Data Controller', 'Personal Data' and 'Processing' shall have the same meaning as in the GDPR.

19. We are a Data Controller of the Personal Data we Process in providing the Services and Goods to you.

20. Where you supply Personal Data to us so we can provide Services and Goods to you, and we Process that Personal Data in the course of providing the Services and Goods to you, we will comply with our obligations imposed by the Data Protection Laws:

  1. before or at the time of collecting Personal Data, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected;

  2. we will only Process Personal Data for the purposes identified;

  3. we will respect your rights in relation to your Personal Data; and

  4. we will implement technical and organisational measures to ensure your Personal Data is secure.

Governing law, jurisdiction and complaints

22. The Contract (including any non-contractual matters) is governed by the law of England and Wales.

23. Disputes can be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales or, where the Customer lives in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of respectively Scotland or Northern Ireland.

24. We try to avoid any dispute. The ‘Contact us’ form on the website can be used to communicate directly with the Rejoin Campaign.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 2 years.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

8. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES  

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy. 

 

9. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS POLICY?

In Short: Yes, we will update this policy as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
